Your job is to plant the seeds and water the field.
God's job is to bring you the harvest because HE is the provider. All through scripture God reassures us that we are more important than sparrows and that in His goodness and mercy, as our provider, we would be taken care of.
Faith means you step out of your comfort zone and ,even when you don't see the light at the end of the tunnel, you keep planting those seeds. You keep watering those seeds and you patiently and faithfully wait for God's perfect timing to bring your harvest.
Let me tell you that I'm not where I wanna be. Not because I don't work my tail to the bone but because this isn't God's timing. I had to learn to be a better leader and friend before God blesses me in that manner.
I had lessons to learn through it all.
Do you not think the God who spoke the universe into existence can do that???!
I mean for goodness sake, he S P O K E it into being. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.
Your business is his.
Your leadership is his.
Your harvest is in his hands.
Make sure you are right with Him, work your business diligently and watch what happens!!!
We are not allowed into Heaven by how good we are. We are allowed into Heaven by accepting the gift of God's only Son who died for our sins past, present and future. We need to just believe and accept this gift. This in no way gives us freedom to sin. 1 Peter says be holy for I am holy. But if we fall it in no way removes us from our spot given us in heaven. We must ask forgiveness and get up and move on from sin as God will give us a clean slate daily if we ask Him. Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:25-28 Be Blessed, Pastor Fred
God, If we examine our lives closely, we may find that our priorities and perspectives are in disarray. We may find, for example, that we put other things ahead of loving and serving other people. We may find that our pursuit of success, out interest in self-preservation, and our desire for power get in the way of our bearing witness to the One who came not to be served, but to serve. They may get in the way of other people coming to you. Give us priorities and perspectives that reflect those of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Help us worship you and follow Jesus in ways that will lead us to think of others before we think of ourselves. Amen.
